In 2018 GHI was also notified of two twin boys that were given to a government-run orphanage after their drug addict parents gave birth to them at a bus stop. One of the children suffered with HIV. GHI partnered with a loving family to build an extension to their home and add an additional two bedrooms to take in these two boys and a second teenage girl. This teenager was twice orphaned, once at birth and then after her adopted mother passed away from cancer. GHI’s mission to support widows, orphans, and those in critical need. These twin boys couldn’t be happier with a loving adopted mom and dad. This teenage girl is in a safe place and after going through so much is with a loving family vs a government run shelter.
